Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushing Replacement for 2001 PT Cruiser

I bought the Hyper-Flex Master kit from Energy for my car, and also bought a couple of MOOG K7147 ball joints.

After hearing the high prices my local shops quoted just to install the bushings ($900-$1240), I priced some tools and did the whole install myself. I found little useful information to assist the first-timer in this replacement, so I photographed most of the process and wrote it up.

If you undertake this work at home, please be aware that I am not a mechanic. I used the Chrysler Service Manual, the instructions that came with the parts, a few educated guesses and a couple of questions asked on-line to figure this out. I wish you luck, but you’re on your own! J
